Privacy Policy
Habitcrawl ("the app") is made by Cloudshadow Studios and is built so that your information stays with you. In short: we don't collect, store, sell or share any of your personal data.
Data stored on your device
Your habits, check-ins, notes, journal, game progress and settings are saved on your iPhone, in the app's private storage. We never receive them. Deleting the app deletes this data, and you can erase it at any time in Settings › Reset all progress.
iCloud backup (optional)
If you turn on iCloud backup, a copy of your save is stored in your own private iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit. Only you can access it; we can't see it. Turn it off at any time in Settings. To delete the backup, go to your iPhone's Settings › your name › iCloud › Manage Storage.
Apple Health
If you choose to connect Apple Health, Habitcrawl reads workouts, exercise minutes, steps, walking, running and cycling distance, mindful minutes, sleep (including when you fell asleep), water and time in daylight, so it can check off the habits you link and award bonus cards. This data is read on your device, used only to update your habits, and never sent to us or anyone else. Habitcrawl doesn't write to Apple Health, doesn't use Health data for advertising, and doesn't share it with third parties. It is not stored in iCloud backups beyond the habit check-ins it produced. You can turn off access anytime in the Health app › your profile › Apps › Habitcrawl.
Apple Watch, widgets and Siri
The Apple Watch app, Home Screen widgets and Siri shortcuts show and update the same data on your own devices. Nothing is sent to us.
Purchases
Subscriptions and purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We don't receive your payment details. Apple gives the app only what it needs to confirm whether you have Pro.
Notifications
If you turn on reminders, they are scheduled on your device. Nothing about them is sent to a server.
Analytics, advertising and tracking
The app contains no analytics, advertising or tracking software, and it doesn't track you across other apps or websites.
If you email us, we use your message and address only to reply to you.
Children
The app doesn't knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date above.
